The Frankfurter Förderverein zur Bekämpfung von Tumorerkrankungen was founded in 2009. The current chairman, Ingo Söhngen, was a patient at the Schaubstrasse Outpatient Cancer Center at the time and was able to beat his cancer thanks to the help of Prof. Dr. Chow and his team.

With the awareness he gained of how much his own life depends on the right care and the help of other people in such extreme situations, and how many patients are denied this happiness, Ingo Söhngen then founded FFBT e.V. - together with Prof. Dr. Chow.

The FFBT has set itself the goal of improving the comprehensive treatment and support of patients with tumors and promoting the care and intensive support of cancer patients in the region.

We would also like to actively support the promotion of science and research, early detection measures and general advice on cancer treatment.

We are aware that we can only achieve these goals with your help and your donations. We have been able to collect donations from a wide variety of sources in recent years. Under the heading Events you will find the generous donors who have made it possible for us to realize our projects to date.
