Psychologist for the KinderPalliativTeam

Donation that strengthens: 112,000 euros for the KinderPalliativTeam Südhessen

It was with great pleasure and deep conviction that FFBT e.V. presented the KinderPalliativTeam Südhessen with a donation totalling 112,000 euros. These funds will be used specifically to finance psychological support for terminally ill children and their families - a service that is not refinanced as part of specialised outpatient palliative care for children and young people and is therefore only possible through donations.

Psychologist Francesca Tedesco from the Children's Palliative Care Team gives an insight into the importance of this work: "As a psychologist in the children's palliative care team, I support terminally ill children and their families with professional expertise and an empathetic presence. I support them in dealing with fear, grief and saying goodbye - and strengthen not only the families, but also our team in our shared care. This important work is funded by donations - thank you for making it possible."

With this donation, FFBT e.V. is making an important contribution to the stabilization and further development of a service that provides hope, orientation and human closeness in the most difficult life situations. We would like to thank the entire team of the Children's Palliative Care Team for their tireless efforts - and all donors for their trust in our common cause.
