Trading Charity - Trading and helping: Deutsche Börse supports FFBT e.V.
Deutsche Börse and the specialists operating on the Frankfurt trading floor announced the proceeds from the 'Trading Charity - Trading and Helping' campaign in the trading hall on 15 December 2017. The campaign raised a total of 135,000 euros. Deutsche Börse donated €75,000 of this amount to the association Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V. and the specialists donated €60,000 to the Frankfurter Förderverein zur Bekämpfung von Tumorerkrankungen (FFBT) e.V. Following the handover, the representatives of the two organizations were able to open trading in the Frankfurt trading hall with the traditional trading bell.
As part of the 'Trade and Help' campaign, the transaction and trading fees collected via the Frankfurt Stock Exchange trading venue on St. Nicholas Day were donated to the two charitable organizations. Investors who traded shares, bonds, funds, ETFs or exchange-traded products on this day helped both organizations.
The specialists working on the trading floor decided to donate their trading fees to the Frankfurt Association for the Fight against Tumor Diseases, which supports the treatment and care of cancer patients in the region. Deutsche Börse decided in favor of the association Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V., which improves the conditions of young patients and their families in the inpatient and outpatient areas of the children's cancer clinic.
